We are looking for a Fishing Vessel Deckhand / Shellfish Production Assistant.
You will be required to work between our factory in Port St Mary and at sea onboard our Fishing Vessel.
This position is full time and will involve weekend work and bank holidays. Working days and hours will vary dependent on weather conditions and therefore flexibility is required.
Seafood processing can be physically & environmentally demanding and can involve long hours and so a good level of fitness will be important.
Previous experience of working at sea or on a fishing boat will be an advantage as well as any basic sea safety training qualifications, although not essential as full training can be provided.
Remuneration will depend on experience and will be made up between a daily rate whilst at sea and piecework whilst in the factory.
